Abstract :Direct mail advertising,abbreviated as DM,is translated as "direct mail","Advertising letter","direct-mail letters." and so on.It refers to a method of creating customers with DM media delivery by using of personal information function.As an advertising media,direct mail is now fully utilized in the sales process to provide a sales and technical means.Different businesses and different products can be settled through direct mail advertising.As a direct marketing model,the Dell mainly uses this direct mail advertising.This paper studies the Dell direct model's operation mode,successes and enlightenment.This paper is divided into two sections and the major elements of each section are as follows:
The first chapter mainly give a systematic description to the concept,development,forms and characteristics of the direct mail advertising.
Chapter two describes the production process of the Dell direct model and direct mail advertising with the case analysis.
At last I give the summary of this paper and give a conclusion on my analysis of Dell direct mail advertising.
