Before I set out,I had made a telephone call with my uncle and he agreed to meet me at the railway station. However,when I arrived at the station and waited there, my uncle rang to tell me
he had something urgent and couldn't come to meet me on time.I then answered him that I would try my best to find his home and told him not to worry about me.In the end, I really 【made it （病痛等）好转；达到预定目标；及时抵达；走完路程】by asking the polce for help.
Although I had much difficulty and was tired, I had more confidence to myself through the challenging(具有挑战性的) experience(经验；经历；体验).
