Is material life the premise of marriage?

“It is true that money is important to a relationship,and I even heard a saying that ”No money,no honey”.However,from my point of view,material life is not the premise of a good marriage .Two people come together because they are emotionally close to each other and love each other.That's enough.True love is more a kind of feeling which is hardly changed by the environment including material basis.Couples without much means are often seen to live happily.Difficult times bring them closer.Negative cases are not rare in which materially well-to-do couples have little more than material enjoyment.But I still have to say that material basis is an important factor,which will implement an already affectionate relationship.”
