ecently,English is a world famous language in sevral domains-------buisness,industry,education--------that include more and more service work. so to be good at english is very important to us.
But so many people claims that it is very difficult to learn. in my opinion,some driving factors that contribute to this. first,Chinese evolved from the oracle----a ancient pictograph----which emphasized the meaning of the shape or the aspect of the words. but english is opposite, there is almost no connection between the shape or aspect and the meaning. in the other hand,we don't have a appropreate circumstance to do more execises for using english, most people around us speak Chinese, we can only do execise with listen to radio or speak to a occational foreigner. finally,the disparity of the culture between the East and the West is another significant factor.
From what has been discussed so far, I think colleage should provide a good condition to students to improve their real english.
