我觉得不可以.前面的are 是用来形容chips 的property,have the quality of being ,而后面的are 是用来作 被动动词的什么什么,不知道该怎么解释.
若果是 be 动词后跟的是同样形式的词,就可.
example:
The chips are thin and small.(thin and small,同样形容词,形容特质）
The chips are packed and sold by the store.（pack,sell 同样动词,对chips 所 做的动作）
不知道怎么解释,也不肯定.只是我的想法.
