一般来说,other都要加上个名词,比如other students,other people
others就直接指的是别人
to do强调停下手头的事情（后）继续做某事,doing就是不停做某事
eg：I continued to write my book when I had finished my homework.
我做完作业后继续写书（没停,但做的事情不一样）
I continued writting my book after a short rest.
短暂的休息后我继续写书（暗含的意思是一直在写书,同一件事）
to do强调我没闲着,一直在忙,强调动作,doing强调事情,这件事我一直在做.
