汉语中的“所...的”在英语中常用关系代词性的what从句来表达,如：
他所说的（话）what he said = the words that he said
你将要做的（事）what you will do = the thing that you will do
他们已经听到的 what they have heard = the news that they have heard
所以“正如我们所说的那样”也可以译作：
过去时：as what we used to say
完成时：as what we have said
