    Abstract: At present typical temperature measurement and control system consists of analog temperature sensor, A/D converter, and MCU. Since the analog signals output from analog temperature sensor must be undergone A/D conversion so that being able to interface with microprocessor, such as MCU, the hardware circuit is relatively complex and the cost is higher. On the other hand the novel single-bus digital temperature sensor represented by DS18B20 sets the temperature measurement and A/D conversion in one unit, directly outputs digital values, and has a simple interface circuit structure, so is widely used in the fields where long distance and multiple nodes are required, and has strong deployment value.

    The temperature control system for drinking machine presented in this paper takes AT89C51 MCU as the core, uses DS18B20 to acquire temperature information, controls solid-state relay, SSR, to heat the heating tubes, and utilizes LED digitron to display, so as to realize the control of temperature. The temperature measurement range of this system is 20~90℃, the precision error is within 1℃, so it features high temperature precision and good control performance.
