Forests are definitely important to both people and animals.To be more specific,forests are friends of all living organisms on Earth.They take in carbon dioxide,the main greehouse gas and release oxygen,the air that keep us alive.The forest uses its roots to consolidate the soil and help preserve water.If not for forests,lands would be baren deserts and river would be the same color as mud.If not for forests,people will suffocate as if they were living on the plateau.Not only do forests provide us vital protection,they also provide shelter for wildlife,recreation,and aesthetic renewal for people.There're more that forest can benefit both people and animals.However,we don't need to mention them because we already have enough reasons to protect the forests.In a word,to protect the forests is to protect all of us.
