嗯,我觉得这个句子的考点不在shouldn't have done.而是have sb do（注意是do不是done）,have sb do就是让某人干……事的意思.
这里的should只是一般的情态动词.和can't 一样的作用.相当于 As his parent ,you can't have your child read such a book.
