complicated in shape,the facial bones have gaps (foramina) in them.Some allow cranial nerves to pass from the brain within the neurocranium,out to the nasal epithelium in the nose cavity,the eyes in their sockets,the inner ear,and other sensory parts.blood bessels have similar sets of skull foramina.
面部骨骼形状复杂,且有间隙（列孔）.有些间隙允许脑颅中大脑的颅神经穿出,到鼻腔内的鼻皮细胞,到眼窝中的眼睛,到耳朵,和其它感官部分.血管(blood vessels)也有类似颅骨孔的固定裂孔.
