Tom is a schoolboy in the first grade.Everybody says,"Tom is a good boy."But,do you know,he has a shortcoming.He can never get up early.He often 【sleeps】until nine or ten o'clock in the morning.
Mother doesn't want Tom to be 【late】for school."What can I do?"she asked 【herself】.Last week she bought him an alarm clock."You must get up as soon as you 【hear】the clock ring,"she"Where shall put it?"Tom asked.
"Besise your bed," said Mother.So from then on Tom was 【never】late for school.
Yesterday,however,the mother 【forgot】to wind up the clock and this morning Tom didnit come down for 【breakfast】on time in bed with his eyes wide open.
