The obvious advantage of burning the midnight oil is that you're able to hand your assignment/homework to your teacher the next day.Doing homework at the unholy hour affords you the silence to finish them.However,it doesn't guarantee the quality of the work done since tiredness could be a factor.Furthermore,there's always the possibility of falling asleep in the class the next day.
