  • “five, six ,seven, stop” with the class-to-class exercise music ending,my schoolmates and I returned to the classrooms.I was walking up the stairs when suddenly Beichen appeared beside me.”Ha!Beichen”,I greeted him with a punch on the shoulder “ohh,Chen XX!” He seemed surprised to see me.As we walked we had a chat about our new life in high school. He told me that everything was going well except mathematics. He found math to be a huge barrier because even though what the teacher taught in class was easy, the homework is very difficult. Then he asked if i could help him with a few questions in Maths. As I arrived to my class,I said to him "i will call you after school"

Beichen is one of my best friends from middle school.Usually,we would go home together after school talking about various things such as,why the electric stick is so strong, and our childhood dreams.Later on,we both attended the same high school.I am in the honorable class while he is in the middle class.

When he asked for my help,of course I'd like to help him immediately, however this issue is by no means easy.I feel that there two little bugs were knawing at my heart.

One says "you cant go after class because your time is very limited and you have so many things to do.Since you are in the honorable class, you need to spend more effort than others,if you spend hours solving others' questions, when do you have time to handle your own things?Besides how much do you think you can help him in just a few hours/ Even if he makes sense of these questions,he will have more questions later. As a matter of fact, only he can really help himself."

The other argued " you should definately go after class. He is your best friend, which means you should help each other out, especially when one is in trouble. After all, true friendship is more precious than anything else.In another perspective this is also a good chance for you to learn making good use of time.If you are more efficient then you can make up for the few hours spent. In addition, you can have a more solid understading of math by teaching it.He might just get be stuck at the door. With some advice, different approaches to learning and recommending some good exercise books to him,I'm sure he will soon find his way."

What a fierce argument! Its so hard to choose!

After school, when I called him up saying "i'm really busy these days so let's quickly go to the mini library and solve your questions" I felt happy
