1.既然是THINK认为的话,就表示是个人观点,后面应该是很肯定的说法.既然不确定的话,就应该用AM WONDERING比较好,表示想知道.是什么原因.

2.WHY NOT不能这么用,只能单独使用,表示为什么不,而不能这样发起一个句子.

所以,句子可改为以下两种方式:

1.I think we'd better put some books on the desk.

2.I am wondering why they don't put some books on the desk.

当然,这两种改法意思会有一些不一样,这要看你想表达什么意思了.
