Tom said to me ,"Don't take my bag away." 应当转述成：Tom told me not to take his bag away.
当说话人用一般疑问语气时,用if 或 whether 转述.如：
Kathy asked Lily,"Do you like music?" 应当转述成：Kathy asked Lily if /whether she liked music.
当说话人用特殊疑问语气时,用说话人的疑问词转述.如：
Kathy asked him, "Where were you born?"应当转述成：Kathy asked him where he was born.
在转述时,有一点非常重要,就是：转述中的内容一律使用陈述语序,不能用疑问语序.
