Both situations can be reflected by one line in the graph.If you move from left to right (increasing leisure time),you work fewer hours,and the earnings drop sharply.If you move from right to left along the line (decreasing leasure time),you work more hours,and your earnings grow quickly.Depending on what's more important to you and the way you choose,you could increase your earnings or free time dramatically.However,the tendency is probably more leisure time.
