Before I was about to go to college ,I had two academic majors to choose.One was English and the other one was international trade.ThenI chose English as my major.I think that is the most important,and also right,decision I made in my life.First,because I am interested in English and it turnsout that I am also pretty good at learning English.And I don’t know how things are going to turn out if I choose international trade.Second,now I am a teacher of English and amazingly enough,I am interested in teaching English ,as well.You know,I have been studying English for,like,10 years since I was an English major.So without this ten years of hard working,I don’t think I can make it to become a teacher of English.So I really think it is most important decision to choose to study English instead of anything else.

My high school graduation is the most memorable event in my life because it was such a special day.During our graduation we were each called up one at a time to the stage.We each received our diploma and everyone applauded our hard work.I even received an award for being the best math student.There was a get-together afterwards which was attended by all my friends and family.I think study in the school that I have found some good ways to do useful things as well as have learning it.And the more I practiced in the school,the more confidence I gained.It was a memorable event because on this way I ended one part of my life and embarked on the beginning of my future.

The most influential person to me is a teacher of English listening when I was a freshman. His name is John.First,because he is the first person who has taught us how to improve English listening.Like,John told me to buy a short-wave radio to listen to VOA on a regular basis.It turned out to be extremely helpful.In addition,he also taught us how to take notes while listing to some materials.Then,John is very good at teaching.For example ,he managed to teach us English pronunciation through creative pronunciation demonstration.and of course,John also taught us tons of listening skills which have largely shaped my healthy listing habit.
